Content Policy — Pressabook
Effective date: 31 July 2026 Operator: Grandfield Media, Plot No. 93, Koundinya Nagar, Nacharam, Hyderabad, Telangana 500076, India · contact@pressabook.com
Pressabook generates practical non-fiction. To keep the service safe, legal, and welcome on the platforms our customers publish to, every book request is screened before generation. This page explains what we don’t generate and what happens when a request is declined.
What we don’t generate
- Regulated professional advice presented as professional guidance — medical treatment advice, legal counsel, individualized financial or tax advice. Educational content in these areas (e.g., budgeting basics, general fitness guidance) is welcome and is generated with appropriate disclaimers.
- Sexually explicit content.
- Hate, harassment, or violence — content that demeans or targets people based on protected characteristics, or promotes violence.
- Content about identifiable private individuals — exposés, biographies, or claims about real private people.
- Academic fraud products — essays, theses, or assignments intended for submission as someone’s own academic work.
- Copies or close imitations of existing books — we will not reproduce, summarize into a substitute, or closely imitate a specific existing work. Your book must be your idea.
- Deceptive-identity content — books built on fabricated author credentials (pen names are fine; fake qualifications are not).
- Anything that violates applicable law or the usage policies of our AI provider.
How screening works
Your brief is checked automatically before any writing begins. If a request is declined, you’ll see the reason category, your credits are returned in full, and you can revise the brief or appeal by emailing contact@pressabook.com — a human reviews appeals.
Your responsibility after download
You own your generated books and you’re responsible for how you publish them: platform rules (including Amazon KDP’s AI-content declaration), the accuracy of claims in your niche, and the laws that apply to you. Sensitive categories (money, health) are generated with a standing disclaimer on the copyright page — keep it, or replace it with advice from your own counsel.
Enforcement
Repeated attempts to bypass screening, or publishing generated content in ways that create legal risk directed at Pressabook, may lead to account suspension. We’d rather talk first: contact@pressabook.com.
